Our Approved Provider 

Petrae Mclean, holds an Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, a senior first aid and CPR certificate, approval to work with young children. With 17+ years experience in the industry, Petrae understood the importance of Early Childhood Education to our community. Petrae believes that our children are this nations most precious resource and that educating our children, the future leaders of the nation, is a great privilege and even greater responsibility. 

Nominated Supervisor / Service Manager

Jade Hubbard, Holds a Dual Diploma in Counselling and Community Services, Cert III in Early Education & Care and is currently studying her Diploma in Early Education & Care. Jade has lived on the islands for 12 years and has invested her time in making our islands a safe space for children and families within our community. Jade believes that children in every environment should feel safe, secure, supported and loved.

Our Kindergarten Teacher

Our kindergarten teacher for 2024 is Miss Kirra, who is excited to take on the role in the Kindergarten Program, being qualified Early Childhood Teachers.  We welcome Miss Kirra as the Kindergarten Teacher and congratulate her in achieving this degree in 2023.  She is looking forward to continuing our amazing Kindergarten Program for 2024, while mentoring centre staff within the Kindergarten environment. Miss Kirra is looking forward to working in partnership with you and your child, to ensure an amazing year of learning ahead.

Our Educational Leader

Dee Sier ~ As the Educational Leader for our service, Miss Dee supports all Educators in development and delivery of the children's educational programs and in the Educators professional development, facilitating in-house training, formal qualification study sessions and work placements.

Our Lead Educators and Relief Lead Educators

The service has 2 Early Childhood Teachers, Lead Educators are qualified Assistant Educators who have also completed (or are currently completing studies towards) a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. All educators hold a senior first aid and CPR certificate, an approval to work with young children, and training in Basic Food Handling. Lead Educators develop and with the assistance of Relief Lead Educators deliver and document our learning programs and the individual learning journeys of the children in their care.

Our Assistant Educators

Assistant Educators hold (or are currently completing studies towards) a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, hold a senior first aid and CPR certificate, an approval to work with young children and training in Basic Food Handling. Our Assistants support Lead Educators in the delivery of our learning programs and in the care of the children.

Our Bus Co-ordinators

Bus Co-ordinators hold (or are currently completing studies towards) a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, hold an open Australian Drivers License, a senior first aid and CPR certificate, approval to work with young children and training in Basic Food Handling and the fitting and age appropriate use of child vehicular safety restraints. As many of the children attending this service transit to/from home via the courtesy (free) buses, our bus co-ordinator's are front-line service representatives providing an essential communication channel with many families.
